With the 2017 updated station, 92% of ideas proposed by the Orange City Fire Department firefighters were implemented. These ideas improved safety and efficiency.

Additions such as a training room, hall of history, ADA accessibility, gear rooms, laundry facility, a training wall and storage was added. Three more bays were added, totaling six bays. Now, the fire station can avoid “double stacking” the trucks.
